About Serene Communities (Columbia Pacific)
Serene Communities is the senior living brand that Seattle-based Columbia Pacific built in India after it bought Tamil Nadu-based Serene Senior Care in 2017. It mostly works with developers: the developer builds and sells the homes, and Serene runs the community and its services.
Its communities are in Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Puducherry and Kanchipuram. It has launched in Mysuru (Serene Sagara) and Hyderabad (Serene Bilvani One), with more planned in Kochi and Pune. In Bengaluru it handed over 239 homes at Serene Amara in Embassy Springs, Devanahalli, and runs a rental assisted living facility in Electronic City.
In Chennai, Serene runs TVS Emerald Serene Springs on OMR, which TVS Emerald is developing.
